Our story

Welcome to ASH Innovations, where traditional values and a passion for love & craftsmanship come together. We are Alana & Saleh Henkel, a couple who found love unexpectedly & embarked on a beautiful journey that led us to create ASH Innovations, our bridal bouquet preservation resin business. 

Our story began in 2009 when Saleh, originally from Germany, made the bold decision to leave his home country & start a new chapter in Australia. Little did he know that fate had something extraordinary in store for him. Fast forward to 2019, when destiny brought us together in an unlikely place—a call centre where Saleh found himself sitting in the pod “next door” to Alana each day. 

As the days turned into months & the conversations flowed, a deep connection grew between us. In 2020, love blossomed, & we realized we had found something truly special in each other.  

In 2021, we took the next step in our journey & got engaged, promising to build a future filled with love, creativity, and meaningful connections. Our love story culminated in a beautiful wedding in 2022, where we eloped & vowed until death do us part.  

Inspired by our own wedding & the desire to capture the essence of everlasting love, we founded ASH Innovations in 2023. Alana, a hopeless romantic, & Saleh, a gentleman with a heart full of warmth, discovered a shared love for preserving cherished memories & a desire to create something unique together. Our passion for preserving the beauty & sentimentality of bridal bouquets led us to explore the art of resin preservation. Through meticulous craftsmanship & attention to detail, we transform delicate flowers into stunning keepsakes, encapsulating the emotions & memories of a special day.
